Barefoot Running Shoe Odor

I started running with Vibram Five Fingers barefoot running shoes about 2 months ago. I did not realize that they would start to smell so bad. They have an antimicrobial footbed but it does not protect them from odor. I started spraying them with Arxodos when I realized I had a problem. Arxodos took care of the problem and I have not had any odor since. Please note that you need to spray the inside of the Vibram Five Fingers shoe and also the outside of the fabric each time you where them. By the way I even where these to plan the drums since it is like having bare feet on the pedals.

Heart Rate Monitor Chest Strap Odor

I reconnected with an old friend of mine the a few weeks ago. Someone that I have know for 25 years. We were talking about a lot of things to catch up. I told him about Arxodos and what it does to get rid of odor in sports equipment. He thought it was a great idea and wanted to try it. I gave him a bottle and told him to use it on his work out gear. When I spoke to him the next week he told me that it really worked and he was impressed. I asked him what he used it on. He told me it worked well on his gym gloves but then he told me his heart monitor strap had a terrible smell and he used it on that. I never thought of using Arxodos on my heart monitor strap and mine smelled also. Now I am using Arxodos to keep my heart rate monitor strap odor free also.

Mouth Guard Odor Removal

I just found out that some people are using Arxodos to keep sports mouth guards fresh. The trick to this is to spray the mouth guard and inside the case after wearing. Then rinse it off with water before using the next time. If you do this there will be no smell or bad taste.

A lot of my customers have been asking for a smaller size bottle of Arxodos than our 22oz trigger spray. We decided that it was a good idea and now have our 8oz pump spray available on our website and at our retailers. Smelly Gym Bag Clothes Odor Removal

For those who have read my blog about Arxodos I always recommend spraying Arxodos inside your equipment bag before you put your gear in no matter what sport you play. Well one of my friends took it one step further. She is one of those people that that likes to go to the Gym in the morning before work. In my opinion it is actually the best time to get in your workout. It is done and out of the way so there are no excuses later in the day that you were too tired or just got busy. The only issue is what do you do with your dirty smelly gym clothes until they get washed. Well with Arxodos all you have to do is spray in the bag and then a quick spray on reverse side of the clothes. There is nothing in Arxodos that will hurt the moisture management properties of the garment. Then throw them in your bag and when you get home that night you will not be blown away by the smell when you open the bag. The best part is that if you drive to work and would normally leave your bag in the car all day your car will not reek from your gym bag odor! Try this out and give me some feedback on your experience.

Gymnastic Grips Odor Removal

I was talking to a friend the other day who's daughter is very big into Gymnastics. We were talking about Arxodos and how my company was doing when the subject came up of the horrible odor problem they had with their daughter's gymnastics grips. I gave them a bottle of Arxodos to tryout and now there is no longer a problem. Just spray after each use and put in your gear bag. Arxodos excels at removing and then preventing the odor without using perfumes to cover it up.

Hockey Helmet Odor Removal

If you are experiencing odor from your hockey helmet there is only one answer to the problem. Spray Arxodos inside the helmet each time you play and you will not only get rid of the odor but it will not leave a perfume smell. Other deodorizers leave perfume smells to cover the odor that they can't remove. There are a lot of pads in the helmet so make sure that you spray on and around each of them so that Arxodos can remove the odor!

Field Hockey Gloves and shin guards get pretty smelly when used and put in your gear bag. I spoke to one customer that told me they get hockey hands just like Ice Hockey players do. Spray Arxodos in your gloves and on the palms each time you play. Also spray on your shin guards and in your bag as well and there will be no more odor!

I gave a few bottles of Arxodos to some friends in the police department who were having issues with their bullet proof vests smelling. The winter is bad enough but the summer is the worst with temperatures in the high 90's you can't help but sweat. Needless to say they had tried every household deodorizer on the market. They were tired of smelling like a spring April day in the morning and like a garbage truck by night. With Arxodos they did not have this problem. Arxodos has no odor and will maintain through the day. A quick spray when your day is through and you are ready for your next shift.

Barefoot Skaters need Arxodos

For all those who know how much better a feel you get of the ice when skating barefoot also know how bad your skates smell!!!!!!!!! :-) This is a major problem but you don't have to deal with anymore. If you use Arxodos each time you skate your family, friends and teammates will be much happier people. If your skates are new and not that bad yet you will notice a significant difference the first time you use Arxodos. If you keep on using it there will be no more odor. If your skates are older it will take at least 3 times of really saturating the skate to get rid of the funk. Make sure that you take out the insole before you spray the inside of the skate. Once out of the Skate spray the insole on both sides and let it dry before you put it back in. Don't be bashful with the Arxodos the more you spray inside the better it will work. After the odor is gone you don't need to saturate the skate as much to maintain it.

The Best Workout ends with Arxodos

I have not said much about myself in my blogs. Besides spending time with my family and friends I also enjoy playing the drums and working out. I have perfected (or at least think so) what I think is the best workout routine. I like to work out @ 5:30 in the morning and do not enjoy the gym so I wanted to be able to do this at home. I use two things to work out now and they are unbelievable tools.

1. Bosu
2. TRX

The Bosu is a half a Swiss ball on a platform. I use this for Cardio and balance training. I run on it and do all kinds of step aerobics every other day. You can mix up your routine so you don't get board. The Bosu is also great for core training. I do 30 minutes on it for aerobic activity. Then I do 4 sets of 12 balance squats. You can do so much more with it but that is all I am using the Bosu for at this point in my workout. If you purchase one of these make sure you spend the extra money and get the professional Bosu not the less expensive home model.

The TRX suspension trainer is the best thing that was ever invented. You can take it with you anywhere and get a full workout. I recommend getting the x mount if you have a beam in your basement to use. The door mount works great and you can also attach it to a tree or pole outside for a fun change of venue. I alternate between the Total body express workout that comes with it and the Todd Durkin workout that he came out with. I have even invented some of my own exercises which I will try to video and put on my blog for you. On Cardio day I also add in a bunch of core exercises as well. Check out the side plank and the atomic push up. These are serious exercises. Every day I work out I use Todd Durkin's warm up and stretches with the TRX at the end to finish up. You will never get a better stretch.

There are two tips that I would like to leave you with.

1. Where workout gloves when using the TRX. The Nylon straps are abrasive on the edges and you can get a irritation on the outside edges of you hands if you don't where them. Also purchase an inexpensive thick foam Yoga mat to put down on the ground when you do the core and leg exercises. It makes it a lot more comfortable on your knees even when you have a carpeted floor.

2. Spray your gloves, TRX and Bosu quickly with Arxodos to keep them smelling fresh after each workout.

Buyer Beware When Purchasing Smelly Stinky Used Hockey Goalie Pads and gear

I received an order from a new customer last week that had an issue with some used goalie equipment that he had purchased. He was making the transition from defender to goalie. When purchasing the equipment he checked it out in the sellers basement. Of course since not everyone uses Arxodos the basement was really smelly. My customer thought it was ordinary hockey equipment odor from all the gear in the basement. When he got home he realized that it was the equipment that he purchased that smelled so bad. This was not a good thing. Well he was really lucky that he decided to search the internet for and answer and found my product Arxodos. I spoke to him the day after he recieved the package. He told me that "after 3 uses he has gotten rid of 90% of the odor". If he continues using Arxodos the odor will go completely away and stay that way. I am really happy for him as I do not think he would have been able to use this equipment the way he was talking. There is actually a lot of satisfaction to knowing that you helped someone out of a jam like this. Yoga Mat Odor Removal

It has come to my attention that a friend used Arxodos to keep their Yoga mat smelling clean and fresh. They loved the product but had a comment that it created a slight discoloration on the mat. This can happen with some dye stuff used in making the yoga mat might not be compatible with Arxodos. Since I can't control how all the different yoga mats are made I would suggest following the instructions and testing Arxodos on a small out of the way place on the back of the mat. If there is no issue then you are good to go. If there is a discoloration then you need to make a decision on weather you want you mat to smell or if you can live with the discoloration. I am not sure if this was an isolated incident but I thought that you should know before you just spray away on your favorite mat. My friend chose to continue using Arxodos on the mat.

Hockey Goalie Mask Odor

Are you a Keeper? Well then you know how bad the padding inside your goalie mask smells. The worst part is you have to wear it on your face. If you spray the inside of your mask with Arxodos you will no longer have this issue. I have recieved very positive comments on my product from a major high line mask manufacturer who is using Arxodos when masks come in for repair just so they can work on them.

Mixed Martial Arts equipment odor

The worst pair of smelly synthetic upper soccer turf shoes I ever had to deal with

I have been wearing Nike Five AZCII for the past year. This turf shoe is made of synthetic upper material which is worse for picking up foul odor. I use them for working out and everyday wear. One day I was at a Soccer tournament with my son and it was raining all day. I had not used Arxodos on them before. (shame on me) They did not dry out that fast and boy did they develop a horrible odor. Almost as bad as a pair for hockey skates that are used barefoot. Well I had some battle with this odor. Arxodos finally won out and they are now back to normal. This is not normal but I had to saturate the inside of the shoe 3 times to do the trick removing the insole and replacing it after they dried out. I want you to know this as some odors are really tough. You always need to use Arxodos after each wearing but the first few times if you really have a problem do not be stingy with the product. Also don't think that if all the odor does not go away the first time that the product does not work. If your gear is real bad you will smell a noticeable difference at first but you might need a few applications to get to the no odor level. It is always best to follow the instructions and wipe down older gear with a mild soap and water solution. For those who are too lazy like me to do that Arxodos will still defeat the odor if you apply more the first 2 to 3 times!

Smelly Dog Bed try Arxodos

A funny thing happened to me today as I was leaving for work. I called my dog to say goodbye and when she came over she was making a motion like she was having a seizure. Unfortunately she has them sometimes a disconnect in mutts that they get later in life. But as it turned out it was a bar of soap in her mouth that she stole from our shower that was making her act that way. I was glad she was not having the seizure and took the soap away from her. While helping to clean the soap off her mouth I realized that I had not mentioned using Arxodos to keep the dog odor off of Dog beds. It works really good for this purpose and I use it on my dogs bed. Meanwhile our dog was ok but her breath smelled like lever 2000 when I left :-).

Cardio Kick Boxing Glove Odor

Do you take part in Cardio kick boxing at your gym? If you do you probably know how bad your boxing gloves smell. My sister in law told me hers were awful. She is now using Arxodos and there is no more odor. Make sure you spray inside the glove between each use. Also spray the lace area.

Soccer Sandal Odor

In speaking to one of the MLS equipment managers I was told that they were using Arxodos to keep the Soccer Sandals from smelling. It seems there is a felt strip on the bottom of the strap that gets to smell really bad. If you spray Arxodos on the strip after each wearing you will be able to get rid of the odor.

Getting Rid of Odor in Cleats

There are two places that you have to worry about when spraying your cleats with Arxodos. The first and most important is underneath the insole of the shoe. Most cleats have removable insoles. Remove the insole and spray Arxodos in the shoe. Also spray the bottom of the insole. This will make sure you get the best covearge. Then replace the insole and spray the inside of the cleat again. If you have been wearing them in the rain you should make sure to follow this procedure right away when you get finished playing before your cleats start to dry. The best part about Arxodos is that it works when your equiptment is wet or dry.

The Amount of Arxodos in the bottle

I have had a comment from one of the managers of a store that sells Arxodos that customers have asked why the bottle is not full. The bottle is a 22 oz bottle but it actually has room for about 24 oz of product. Since you can see through the bottle you might notice this. The reason for the extra room in the bottle is so that if the bottle gets squeezed or crushed there is room for the liquid to move without causing the bottle to break or leak out This is most important for shipping where companies like Fed Ex and UPS throw the boxes around. One case of Arxodos is 12 bottles which is about 19 lbs so it has a lot of weight bouncing around. You need this added protection to make sure there are no problems in shipping. We fill every bottle by weight to make sure you get the full amount.

Mascot Costume's

Motorcycle Helmets

A friend of mine told me he is using Arxodos to keep his motorcycle helmet from smelling. I never thought this was a problem but obviously it is. Make sure you spray Arxodos in the helmet at the end of your day of riding so it will be fresh for your next ride.

Hockey season is around the corner! Here are some tips for keeping your hockey equipment from smelling bad.

Make sure you spray Arxodos on your gear after each time you play. You can spray on while wet. Arxodos will work even if you do not take your gear out of the bag when you get home and hang to air dry!

Most people forget to spray the inside of your bag!

Use Arxodos on your gloves inside and out. Spray on all the fabric padding on shin guards, shoulder pads and elbow pads.

Spray in your skates! Make sure you get all the way to the front with the stream spray setting on the nozzle.
